During laser hair removal treatment, the Diolaze emits a diode laser beam that is absorbed by the pigment in the hair. That light energy turns into heat, which damages the hair follicles and delays or prevents future hair growth.

Some of the common areas of treatment are the face, upper lip, under arms, back, bikini line, and legs.

What to Expect During Laser Hair Removal Treatment (Diolaze)

Prior to coming in for laser hair removal treatment, patients are asked to shave (roughly 24 to 48 hours in advance).

On the day of your appointment, a certified technician will apply a barrier gel, which helps to protect your skin during treatment. Diolaze also has a built-in skin cooling surface, which makes the treatment more comfortable compared to other devices. The entire treatment process can take up to two hours depending on the size of the area being treated.

Afterward, you might notice some slight redness, which should subside within a few hours. Make sure to wear sunscreen for the next two to three weeks whenever you go outside.

For the best results, we typically recommend 4-10 sessions. However, patients report a noticeable difference after just two sessions.
